The Hope Dealer Project raises substance use awareness with West Virginia Goes Purple initiative.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — In recognition of National Recovery Month, The Hope Dealer Project is raising awareness about substance use disorder with help from communities all across the state.
Founded in 2015, The Hope Dealer Project is a grassroots recovery advocacy organization based in Martinsburg whose mission is to provide direct support to individuals struggling with addiction and their families.
"Families were struggling to find detox treatment centers, sober living resources, and we didn't have any resources here," said Tara Mayson, founder & executive director of The Hope Dealer Project.
